The shade on this pendant is shaped like an opening bloom, with petal edges that flare outward and a coloured glass body that changes character depending on what is behind it. Lit, it throws a warm tinted wash downward and a softer halo across the ceiling. Unlit, it still holds its own as a piece of coloured glass hanging in a window of light.

It is at its best over a dining table, where the drop can be set low enough to define the table without blocking sightlines across it. A single pendant suits a round table or a breakfast nook. Three hung in a row at staggered heights work over a longer table or a kitchen island. The cable can be shortened at installation to suit your ceiling height.

Four glass colours are available. Green and gold are the warmest and read almost vintage under a warm bulb. White is the quietest and works where the fitting needs to recede. Transparent is the most modern of the set and shows the bulb clearly, so choose your bulb with that in mind. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician. Choose a warm filament bulb if you want the glass colour to read richly rather than washing out under cool light.

Decide how low you want the bloom to hang, typically 30 to 36 inches above a dining table, and mark the ceiling point.

Secure the Ceiling Mount

Attach the included canopy and mounting bracket to a ceiling junction box, making sure it is anchored firmly before the fixture takes any weight.

Connect and Hang the Pendant

Wire the fixture following the included diagram, then let the coloured glass shade settle into its natural hanging position.

Fit the Bulb and Test the Glow

Install a warm white dimmable bulb, restore power, and check the wash of light across the table before finishing the canopy trim.
