Description
The halo here is a ring of cut crystal set into a slim flush mount body, lit from within so the facets break the light into points around the whole circumference. It is a way of getting the sparkle of a chandelier into a room with a standard ceiling height, where a hanging fitting would be out of the question.
The body is only six centimetres deep, so it sits close to the ceiling and reads as a disc rather than a fixture. The main LED panel handles general room light while the crystal ring adds the decorative layer, which means the fitting works as both a practical main light and the ornamental element in a room that has none.
It is supplied with a remote that dims the output and shifts the colour temperature, so the same fitting can be a bright, neutral working light during the day and a low, warm one in the evening. That range is what makes a single ceiling fitting viable in a bedroom. Three finishes are available in black, gold and white, at 50 cm diameter. The LED is integrated with no bulb to replace, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
