The diffuser on this fitting is moulded into concentric ripples, like the rings that spread from a stone dropped in water. Lit, the ridges catch the LED output at slightly different angles and the whole face reads as a series of soft bands rather than one flat panel. Unlit, it is a textured white disc, which is far better than a blank one.

Flush mount fittings live or die on how they look during the day, since they sit on the ceiling doing nothing for most of the hours you see them. Giving the diffuser real depth solves that. The ripple also does practical work, spreading the output more evenly toward the edges of the fitting and reducing the bright centre that plain panels tend to produce.

Three diameters are offered, at 41, 50 and 60 cm, which cover a bedroom, a living room and a large open space respectively. Each size comes in warm white or cold white. Warm is the right choice for bedrooms and living rooms where the fitting is on in the evening. Cold suits kitchens, bathrooms and workspaces where clarity matters more than atmosphere. The LED is integrated with no bulb to replace, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

How To Set Up

Turn Off Power at the Breaker

Before starting, switch off power to the fixture location at the breaker box to keep the installation safe.

Mount the Ceiling Base

Attach the mounting base securely to the ceiling junction box, making sure it sits flush and level.

Connect and Attach the Diffuser

Wire the fixture per the included diagram, then fit the rippled diffuser onto the base until it locks into place.

Restore Power and Check the Spread

Turn the power back on and confirm the light spreads evenly across the room before considering the install complete.
