The form here is unmistakably mid century Italian: a rounded coloured glass body, a wide shallow shade, and almost no visible hardware between them. It is a shape that has been copied endlessly because it works, sitting somewhere between a lamp and a piece of glassware. Unlit in daylight the coloured body is already doing half the job.

Lit, the glass body glows from the inside while the shade pushes a separate pool of light downward, so the lamp reads as two light sources in one object. That is what makes it good on a sideboard or a bedside table, where you want atmosphere at eye level and useful light on the surface below at the same time.

Four colours are offered. White is the most restrained and lets the form carry the piece. Yellow and orange both lean into the retro character and warm a neutral room considerably once lit. Pink is the softest and reads almost neutral in daylight before turning distinctly warm in the evening. Use a warm filament style bulb rather than a cold LED, since a cool bulb behind coloured glass flattens the colour and loses most of what makes the lamp worth having in the first place.
