This pendant is shaped like an open book caught mid flight, pages spread and held in suspension above the room. It is a literal idea executed with enough restraint to stay on the right side of charming, which is a narrow line for a novelty shape. The clean edges and single colour finish are what keep it there.

The open form throws light in two directions. The underside pushes a working pool downward onto whatever sits beneath, while the spread pages bounce a softer wash upward across the ceiling. That upward component is what stops it feeling like a spotlight and makes it usable in a room where you are not always seated directly underneath.

It has an obvious home above a reading chair, a study desk or a child's room, and it works surprisingly well over a kitchen counter where a plain shade would be forgettable. Five colours are available: black and white for restraint, and blue, pink and yellow where the piece is meant to be noticed. Cable length is adjustable at installation. Fit it to a ceiling point rated for the weight and have the installation carried out by a qualified electrician. Hang it at least two metres above the floor so the open pages stay clear of anyone walking beneath.

Choose a spot with open space around it, ideally where the book form can be seen from more than one angle in the room.

Mount the Ceiling Bracket

Secure the canopy and bracket to a ceiling junction box, checking that it is firmly anchored before hanging the fixture.

Hang and Level the Book Form

Connect the pendant per the included wiring diagram, then adjust the cord until the pages sit level and centered.

Install the Bulb and Check Both Washes

Fit a dimmable bulb, restore power, and confirm both the downward pool and the upward wash are landing where you want them.
