This sconce pairs a brushed stainless steel body with a faceted crystal element, which is a combination that sounds like it should clash and does not. Two sizes are offered. The 14 by 30 cm version suits a bathroom mirror or a narrow hallway, while the 21 by 45 cm version has the presence to flank a bed or an entrance. Black and gold finishes are both available, with black reading more graphic against pale walls and gold warmer against darker schemes. Takes a G9 bulb, and installation should be handled by a qualified electrician, particularly in a bathroom where zone regulations apply to the fitting position. Mount the pair at the same height on either side of the mirror, measuring from the floor rather than the mirror frame.
