Cloud Comfort Round Rug

This rug is built entirely around texture. The surface is worked into dense raised bubbles rather than a flat pile, so it reads as depth from across a room and as something quite different underfoot. It is the kind of rug people notice with their feet before their eyes, which is a reasonable definition of a good rug.

The round format matters. A rectangular rug follows the lines of a room and reinforces them. A circle cuts across those lines and softens a space that has gone too angular, which is why round rugs work so well under a coffee table, beside a bed, or in the corner of a room that has become all straight edges and hard furniture.

Three colours are available and all three are deliberately quiet. Beige is the warmest and most neutral, khaki sits slightly greener and grounds a room with a lot of wood, and green is the most present of the set without being loud. The pile is deep, so vacuum on a low setting or with the beater bar off to avoid pulling at the loops. Shake it out rather than beating it, and spot clean marks quickly before they settle into the texture.
