Maeve Solid Oak Wall Rack

Maeve is a single length of solid oak with a narrow shelf above and a row of pegs below, which is all most walls actually need. It takes the things that otherwise pile up on surfaces, keys, a hat, a tote bag, a small plant, and gives them a place that is visible enough to be used and tidy enough to look deliberate.

The oak is left in its natural tone with a clear protective finish, so the grain stays visible and the piece warms up against white or grey walls rather than disappearing into them. The pegs are turned from the same timber rather than screwed on in metal, which keeps the whole rack reading as one object. Edges are eased by hand so nothing catches on fabric.
